Odd One In
We designed the first retail store prototypes for Harborly, the merchandise spin-off of the indoor playground brand HarborLand—and then some. Beyond the conventional architectural brief, we helped shape the retail concept around Harborly’s hero product: anti-slip socks, which are essential for playground safety. Why not challenge the convention that socks need to match or be sold in pairs? Odd, mismatched socks celebrate diversity and individuality. By letting customers buy one sock at a time and mix patterns and colors, the brand addresses the universal problem of lost socks while offering a more economical, sustainable retail choice.
