Beautbureau is a Bangkok-based architecture + design studio. The practice aims to balance an introspective obsession with aesthetics, materials, and fabrication techniques and an active engagement with the human & socio-cultural context of design. Work ranges from objects, furniture, installations, and experiences to interior environments and architecture.

Possibility

We constantly question what could be better, and act in hope of making a difference. With design as a tool, we thoughtfully craft what is possible within real-world parameters to help materialize such differences into reality.

Balance

We pay attention to both the aesthetics and logic of design. Through a structured process of getting insight, asking what-ifs, experimenting, and collaborating to make it happen, we make sure that whatever the outcome is, it is eye-pleasing, functional, and actively engaging with human, environmental, and socio-cultural contexts.

Bea Supaporn Vithayathawornwong is the founder & design director of Beautbureau. Bea holds a Master in Architecture degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, a Master of Arts in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Industrial Design with honors from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok Thailand.

Bea previously practiced at Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects in Atlanta, Kennedy & Violich Architecture [KVA MATx] in Boston; interned at Neri and Hu Design and Research Office in Shanghai; and worked as a lead interior designer at Tandem Architects in Bangkok. She is professionally licensed in Thailand and in the US, with a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certificate.
